Río Secreto Admission and Transportation

Swim thru mineral-rich waters as the wonders of Río Secreto unfold all around you. Gaze up at thousands of incredible stalactites, stalagmites and helectites. This is your time to check out the region's wildlife, enjoy the silence from the depths of the earth, you will love the fragile beauty of the caves.

Itinerary

We will pick up our passengers at the lobby of their hotels, pick up time will vary depending on the location of your hotel.
After we have all the passengers on board we will head to Río Secreto located in the Riviera Maya.
When we get there we will receive instructions from the guide and will put on our wetsuits and additional equipment, then we will listen to the instructions of what is and isn't allowed to do at the river, then we are ready to enter and enjoy the underground cave and its crystal clear waters.

Additional Info

There will be small groups up to eight participants with each tour guide inside the river.

Minimum allowed age is 6 (six) years old.
Guests must be able to walk without assistance and maximum weight allowed is 120 kg / 250 lbs.
 

Important Info

Make sure you do not touch anything while inside the river, as these stalactites and stalagmites have taken centuries to grow this size and we want to preserve them for future generations.

Pick up times vary depending on the hotel you will be staying at, the exact time of your pick up will be provided by one of our representatives at the moment of reservation confirmation.
Pick up schedule starts at 8:00 am

Some advice

• Wear comfortable clothes, a short sleeve t-shirt on top of your swimming suit is recommended.
• All items such as hats, glasses, sandals, watches, cameras, video cameras, band-aids, backpacks and handbags will be requiered to be securely placed inside the lockers provided.
