Xel-Ha is a natural aquarium which has been blessed by Mother Nature with over 70 species that chose this place as their home. Famous by its hundreds of colors and tropical fish, this is a perfect place for relaxation and to enjoy the natural wonders the Mayan Riviera has to offer for you and your family. Come and have fun with you loved ones exploring rivers, lagoons and secluded beaches surrounding Xel-Ha, run thru our floating bridge or dare to defy heights jumping to the exquisite turquoise waters from our Stone of Courage, a sixteen feet high platform made for the courageous only. You can also take a ride bike to the river and discover many other activities that will be part of your Xel-Ha adventure day.
Because these activities will make you spend lots of energies, this tour offers an All Inclusive Meal Plan so you can enjoy delicious meals in a variety of specialty restaurants and open bar so you don’t run low on energy.
Itinerary
- We will begin our tour with the pick-up of all passengers at their hotel lobby in Cancún.
- As soon as we get everyone on board we will be on our way to Xel-ha in the Mayan Riviera.
- After a 1 hour 30 minute drive we will get to the Xel-Ha Park.
- Once in Xel-Ha we will have plenty of time to tour it and enjoy the multiple available activities.
- We will snorkel, swim on the river and ride bikes in the park.
- We are scheduled to leave Xel-Ha by 5:00pm and get back to Cancun at around 6:30 pm so we can start drop offs at the Cancun Hotels.

Additional info
- This excursion starts when our deluxe motor coach bus or recent model van begins to pick up our passengers at 7:15 am. Pick up and drop off schedules vary depending on the location of your hotel in Cancún. One of our representatives will contact you to provide accurate pick up time for your Tour.
- Once we have all passengers on board we will be on our way to Xel-Ha at around 8:15 am.
- We must have everyone back on board by 5:00pm to return to Cancún and start drop offs at around 6:30pm
Important info:
Xel-ha offers a guided tour inside to explore the magic of its natural scenery; there is limited attendance to this mini-tour so we suggest you confirm your attendance at the information booths upon arrival to the park if you are interested in taking it, there is no extra charge for it.
Because this is a natural park there is a great diversity of land and water fauna surrounding, please do not disturb them and respect their environment.
To make use of the snorkel equipment it is necessary to leave a deposit ($300 pesos or $20 usd or euros), either in cash or by credit card imprint, that will be refunded once the snorkel equipment is returned.
Some advice
- Bring sunscreen and sunglasses, remember to use biodegradable sunscreen.
- You may want to bring a light sweater or jacket as it could get cold on the bus on our way to Xel-Ha and back.
- Wear comfortable tennis shoes or sandals.
- Dress lightly.
- Bring your bathing suit and some extra clothes.
- We strongly recommend you do not forget to bring your photo and video camera!
- Bring some extra money to purchase souvenirs at Xel-Ha.
